17 points, Jancis Robinson - Gorgeous charmer – like molten treacle toffee. Lifted and lively. Actually, readier than some of its peers, very welcoming indeed. Tannins very hidden and really rather light and stony on the end.

93 points, James Suckling - A wine that taps into a section of the Barossa that is simpatico to Penfolds' ability to realize bold, powerful reds. This has a dark chocolate-coated blackberry and dark plum nose, some earthy nuances as well as fresh leather, coal smoke, licorice and an overall sense of ripe brooding blackhearted shiraz fruits. The palate has a very powerful, succulent, playfully spicy and richly structured feel to it. Terrific wine. Drink 2020-2030+.

93 points, Lisa Perrotti-Brown - Wine Advocate - Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Bin 150 Marananga Shiraz has decadent blueberry pie and crème de cassis notes with touches of milk chocolate, baking spices and dried mint. Full-bodied, rich and seductive in the mouth, it fills the palate with voluptuous, spice-laced black fruit and finishes on a minty note.
